Here
you can apply to participate in Rinpoche's Littlebourne programme.
If you are unable to contribute towards the cost of the events please
let us know and we will discuss alternatives with you. We do hope people
will contribute a minimum of £10 per day towards the cost
of this series of events. The links below will take you to our PayPal
Shopping Basket. Experience has shown this to be the simplest and safest
way of sending money and it doesn't cost you anything extra.
Two of the empowerments and teachings are restricted to practitioners who have some experience and normally we would expect as a minimum you will have completed the tantric ngöndro. Please tell us about yourself by email with a brief account of your involvement in Buddhist practice including the names of Lamas from whom you have received instruction and/or empowerments together with relevant (if necessary, approximate) dates to Lopön Ögyen Ten'dzin Rinpoche. Each week there will be teachings and practice related to both main empowerments of the previous weekend and much else besides so anyone who is unable to attend one of the weekend events will have also have a complete programme for the week. Those wishing to participate in the retreats must apply well in advance. Places are strictly limited to ensure personal contact with Rinpoche.
Accommodation: So the fullest range of needs and budgets can be catered for, we do not provide retreat accommodation - but we will help to organise this on your behalf if asked. Remember to let us know if you wish us to organise accommodation saying whether you are prepared to share a room and if you have a car. We will consult you before making a booking on your behalf but an indication of what you can afford and any special needs or preferences is essential. Any retreat rules, (eg periods of silence) will apply whether on site or in other accommodation.
Meals: Retreatants will be provided with meals at cost (around £3 for soup & roll lunch and £10 for full evening meal payable at the table). Mealtimes are often an important opportunity for transmission and informal teachings and retreatants are expected to participate. Please let us know in at the time of applying if you have special dietary needs.
At this stage we are accepting applications for complete weeks including weekend empowerments, and each weekend day.
