About this book
According to His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche this is "the most authoritative scripture" describing how the Dharma was planted in Tibet. In the original Tibetan it was called "The Sanglingma Life Story." It was recorded by the dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, concealed in the ninth century at Sanglingma (Copper Temple) in Samye, Tibet and revealed in the twelfth century by Nyang Ral Nyima Oser. It recounts the extraordinary legendary story of Guru Rinpoche, and also contains oral instructions and advice that he left for the benefit of future generations. "A Clarification of the Life of Padmasambhava" by Tsele Natsok Rangdröl, is included providing an extensive glossary and index, and a bibliography of Tibetan and English sources.
